The WESTERN LABRADOR RAIL SERVICE, created in 2010 by the combination of three short line railways: Arnaud Railway, Bloom Lake Railway, and Wabush Lake Railway. The operation provides rail transportation services to mining companies operating in the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador and Québec, Canada and also provides service from the Bloom Lake Iron Ore Mine to a connection with the QNS&L Railway. Ore trains operate continuously and can be up to 240 cars per train.
