Realistic JERSEY CENTRAL LINES Railroad painting and lettering in the as-delivered green with yellow stripe paint scheme. Available in 2 different road numbers as RMT-4261 CNJ #1531 and RMT-4262 CNJ #1532.
The prototype CNJ #1531 and #1532 were rebuilt by EMD in 1959 after the Newark Bay Bridge train disaster in which #1531 and #1532 headed an eastbound passenger train that plunged into Newark, NJ Bay through an open railroad drawbridge in September, 1958.
The prototype CNJ #1532 was also the last former CNJ diesel still in this paint scheme until being retired by CONRAIL on July 4, 1976.
